Wubi – Linux For Windows

I just tried to install Ubuntu on the laptop using Wubi. It should be a window installer to install ubuntu as a second OS. But after rebooting, Ubuntu(and grub) appeared on startup but booting was not possible. And I don’t have a clue why… If they provide an installer that is very automatic, I always expect it to work out of the box. If I wanted the dive into installing Ubuntu as a second OS, I would have burned an ISO and installed it from CD. So a waste of time… Nevertheless when I get sometime later this evening, a second try is planned ;-) ). ‘Never give up on the first’, should make a nice Linux slogan.
